Barça Ready for Historic Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league over two years following their departure to allow renovations to start.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
The stadium will not be at full capacity but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.
