Prolific children's author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.

A spokesman for the firm commented: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."

Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an inquiry regarding allegations of inappropriate behaviour directed at female individuals.

The publisher declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."

An Illustrious Writing Journey

Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.

The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008.

A number of his books, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.

To date, he has released in excess of 40 works altogether, encompassing a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins in October.

Television and Literature

He first rose to fame on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He received an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to charity and the arts.
